Hey DW folks,

I'm redesigning our garden and I bought some gargoyles but I keep thinking as a DW geek what I want most is a weeping angel statue somewhere in our garden, hidden in the bushes or behind a small bolder.

I tried to find an angel statue with hands covering the face but haven't found any. Anything I can find are angels hanging over a grave stone crying but their faces are always visible. Or else I can get the plastic pieces from the Who shop which are way too small.

Any idea where I could get one that resembles the DW angels at least remotely?

It would have to be about 1' to 3' high, stone, or fake-stone plaster, or if it's well-made, stone-like plastic, good for outside temperatures.

Any ideas, hints, tips? Thanks!

This is a well-made creepy 3-minute film from the wizard who made the the fake 50th trailer and Wholock video. I've embedded it under the cut:

They dared not to look at him...

and a sketch...
So I've been keeping an eye on this one for a while now, and publishers Eaglemoss have FINALLY have some proper information on it. Eaglemoss have literal squatting rights to this kind of thing. They're behind the Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and various Lord of the Rings collections. Their most recent example is the Batman vehicles collection, and future collections include ships from Star Trek and a collection based on The Hobbit Trilogy. I'm amazed it's taken them this long to tackle Trek and Who, TBQH.

More nice stuff awaits...Collapse )

I've only recently gotten into Doctor Who and I'm addicted. Since Christmas is approaching and I love the Weeping Angels I decided to make something new for the tree.
